Provost-level Level Appeal begins Eligible for only those whom the Dismissal Appeals Board denied. Students must notify the Associate Provost in writing to Ms. Ann Delmont of their request for appeal and justify the request. Deadline is at 3:00 p.m. (e.g., new information or documentation that was not provided to the Dismissal Appeals Board, procedural error). |

Students will be notified of their academic dismissal via their Buffalo State email account. Hard copies of dismissal notices will also be sent to students' permanent addresses listed in banner.
Students should regularly check their campus email addresses to maximize their time to prepare their dismissal appeal or make alternate plans for the following semester.
Dismissed students are NOT permitted to be enrolled in J-Term or Summer courses at Buffalo State. The university will cancel all registrations, housing contracts, and meal plans unless students successfully appeal their dismissal decision. Therefore, Spring/Fall registrations, housing contracts, and meal plans will be retained in this case until a decision has been made.
