Graduate students should consult with The Graduate School about the dismissal timeline and dismissal appeal process.
Students will be notified of their academic dismissal via their Buffalo State email account. Hard copies of dismissal notices will also be sent to students' permanent addresses of record listed in Banner.
Students should check their campus email address regularly during the last week of May/first week of June to maximize the amount of time they have to prepare their dismissal appeal or make alternate plans for Summer and Fall 2022.
Dismissed students who had registered for Summer ES and VS 2022 courses at Buffalo State will have their registrations administratively dropped by the College and they will not be permitted to attend the courses for which they had registered.
All Fall 2022 registrations, housing contracts, and meal plans will be cancelled by the College, unless students successfully appeal their dismissal decision, in which case Fall 2022 registrations, housing contracts, and meal plans will be retained.
