Academic standing notices will be sent to your Buffalo State email address. Please make sure you are checking your email daily in anticipation of that notice; failing to check your email will not result in an extension of the academic standing review deadlines. A hard copy will also be mailed.

The Director of Academic Standards conducts an initial academic standing review. Once completed, the report is shared with the chair and program coordinators. |

The Director of Academic Standards will send dismissal notices, probationary status notices, and letters for incompletes to students and their program coordinator/director. |
|
01/23/25 |
Dismissal appeal deadline: January 23rd at 3:00 p.m. |
|
01/24/25 |
The Director of Academic Standards will email dismissal appeal outcome letters to students’ Buffalo State accounts. |
|
01/24/25 |
Spring 2025 classes charges will dropped for all dismissed students. |
